For students
Into your next lesson, well prepared.
Between lessons you practise on your own: at university, at a music high school, or in your free time at a music school or with a private teacher. Loop the bars that aren’t there yet, record a take when you’re ready and see notes, pitch and rhythm scored.
Coming to the App Store and Google Play.
What you get
- Your pieces as MusicXML, or from a photo or PDF of the sheet music.
- Loops over the hard bars, with the tempo rising a step on every pass.
- Takes scored for notes, pitch and rhythm, and your best result for every passage you mark.
- Run-throughs like an exam: the whole piece as written, from the top. Stop early and the take is discarded.
- Practice time that counts only the playing: the microphone listens, so pauses are left out.
- Your exam or recital programme as a setlist, its pieces saved offline.
With your teacher
- Your teacher creates a teacher group in UBEN and sends you the invite link.
- By joining, you agree that your teacher sees your practice: time, sessions, pieces practised and scores. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
- Challenges from your teacher sit on top of your feed: a tempo to reach, minutes a day or a streak of days.

UBEN doesn’t replace your lessons. Its scores are the app’s estimate, and your teacher has the last word.
UBEN is for students aged 13 and over. Younger than 14 in Austria or 16 in Germany? Then you need the consent of a parent or guardian first.
